Cynthia C. Brinson, MD
Dr. Cynthia C. Brinson, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and went on to obtain her medical doctorate at Texas Tech University, Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. She completed her Family Practice residency at Brackenridge Hospital in 1993, serving as the Chief Resident from 1992-1993. Dr. Brinson also completed a one-year fellowhip in Academic and Research Development at the McLenan County Medical Education Research Foundation. Her favorite quote, "deserves got nothing to do with it", is a great example of the outside work she does at the Travis County Correctional Facility and David Powell Clinic. If you don't find her at any of those facilities, she's most likely enjoying her animals or shopping for the perfect shoes.
Mary Bartz, M.D.
Dr. Mary Bartz completed her Bachelor of Biology, Cum Laude Ampla et Magna, at the University of Texas in Austin. From there she went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 1990. She returned to Austin to do her residency in Family Practice through Central Texas Medical Foundation in 1993. She joined Red River Family Practice upon completion of her residency in 1993.
Dr. Bartz enjoys traveling, especially cruising, which she has done numerous times. She also seems to always be busy in the kitchen baking treats, or spending time with their family in their garden.
Gary Werntz, M.D.
Dr. Gary Werntz graduated LSU medical school in 1982. After completing a residency in Pathology at Scott and White in Temple he went into private practice in Beamont, Texas. He has been in practice ever since. From 2001-2004 he was the Medical Director of the David Powell Public Health Center, the City of Austin's HIV/AIDS clinic. He has been in private practice at Red River Family Practice since 2005.
Dr. Werntz spends much of his free time at a small ranch near the Big Bend of Texas with his partner and dog Zoe. He is a fairly good gardener, and really terrible carpenter.

Although medicine plays a large role in Dr. Killian's life, he splits his off work time farming. Whether it's volleyball games, cubscout meetings, or harvesting this year's crop, Dr. Killian is rarely idle.

On his off days, Dr. Lambeth is always keeping up with the world happenings over a hot cup of espresso.
